Age and weight in Isabelle's mind

Kids are always very honest. They say whatever comes to mind.

Isabelle is always thinking and making little comments. Last week I was having dinner with my mom and sisters and they were all laughing at something Isabelle had said. So I had to ask what it was.

She calls my mom, vovo (grandma in portuguese). So she asked: "Vovo how old are you?" and my mom replied: "61" and she said:" good vovo. You still have a couple years to live!" My sister Sarah said: "Isabelle?", and she said " well, I mean like at least 20 more years..."

She also told me the other day:"mom, you are chubby!" And I asked her:"Really?" And she said:"yes, but it's ok mom, I'm chubby too."

Belle always makes us laugh. The way she says things with her little attitude are always funny.

Fishing with dad

Amos took the kids fishing. The kids had a lot of fun. I'm pretty sure they like throwing rocks in the lake more than fishing, but they still like to go with dad and grandpa.

The kids and the Creek

Grandma and Grandpa Hoover have a creek that runs through their property. The kids spent hours and hours throwing a plastic boat in it, following it down the creek and getting it out before it leaves the property. They are so easily entertained.

Father's day weekend

We went to Flaming Gorge for Father's day weekend. Amos' grandparents live in Manilla. The kids love going up there. It is nice to be able to play all the day and come to a house at the end of the day to shower and sleep.

This time the water was very cold. So we just enjoyed the scenery.

Aliah, Jordan, Belle, Cam, and Kenzie. They were having a blast together!

Isabelle and the bear. She loves going and visiting grandma and granpa Hoover. She always asks why can't we just live there and drive here to school everyday.

I guess I did go on this trip...ha ha ha. My husband actually decided to take some pictures of me.

We went to feed the fish at the Green River Dam, at least I think that is the name of the place. The kids like going there.

First week of work

After 2 years of just going to school I finally started working. I was so nervous, there were so many things to remember.

I had 4 patients on monday, 9 on tuesday, 6 on wednesday, and 6 on thursday. It doesn't seem like a lot, but compared to 2 patients a day in school it was a challenge. I was able to stay on time for the most part. I even helped the doctor with all of his anesthesia!

It was a lot of fun. I love the offices I work at. Everyone is really nice...for now anyway.

I also got my first check. It is nice to get paid. Getting money instead of a grade it's AWESOME!

Anyway, I feel I choose the right profession. Will see if I still feel this way a month from now...ha ha ha.

Amos and his tricks

Amos loves riding his motorcycle. That is probably why the kids are so into it, specially Cameron. He wants to be just like his dad.

Anyway, Amos is always trying to go over jumps and learn new tricks on his bike. I hate watching it. It scares me to death. I keep joking about his life insurance policy. Maybe we should get a new one...ha ha ha

Isabelle and a motorcycle

Belle has been wanting to learn how to ride Cam's motorcycle for a while now, so on this last trip my husband decided it was time.

She finally learned how to ride her bicycle without training wheels, so I thought she was ready for it.

Well, she was doing OK until she went over a little bump and got a little scared and gave the motorcycle more gas. She took off and we got a little scared. My husband was running after her, but he could not reach her. One of our friends saw her and started running towards her. A few minutes later she figured out how the gas worked and was able to stop.

It was a scary moment, but it all turned out OK.

Kids and machines

Cam and Belle each have their own machines. Of course Cam has a motorcycle like dad, and Belle has a 4wheeler like mom.

Their cousins Colton and Brayden also have their own motorcycles. They all ride together. We have not had any accidents so far...knock on wood!

Memorial Day

We decided to go camping with our friends over Memorial Day. The kids love it. I'm not the biggest fan, but what wouldn't a mom do to make her kids happy...ha ha.

We always go with family and friends. My husband's family is really into camping. boating, and riding 4wheelers and motorcycles. I've had to learn how to enjoy it.

You won't see me in any of the pictures though, I'm always the one taking them. But I swear I go on all these "fun" trips with my family, even though you can't see me.:)
