Busted!!!

Sunday night I was watching a movie trying to relax when I heard one of the kids walking upstairs. It was Cameron all excited that he had lost another tooth!

As usual I told them to put it in a little plastic bag and place it under his pillow, so the tooth fairy could get it.

Well after the movie I went upstairs to retrieve the tooth and place money under his pillow. Just as I reached the bag and started to make the switch he opened his eyes, looked at me, smiled, and said: BUSTED!!!

We both started laughing. Now he knows that the tooth fairy does not exist. He's been kind enough not to tell his sister. But I was talking today and he does not believe in any of the other fictional characters that bring him presents, except for Santa of course!

Snowboarding

So I finally had the guts to go snowboarding. I went the Sunday before last with Amos, Cody, Trish, and Leslie.

Leslie and I took a class in the morning, while the others enjoyed their rides. It was frustrating at times during the class. I didn't particularly enjoy falling on my bum so much. My tail bone is still sore.

The main thing I learned in the morning was that I shouldn't have so many layers of clothes on. It makes it really hard to bend and try to get up on your board. Needless to say at lunch time I had to strip a couple of layers. After that I was able to get up on my board and enjoy a nice ride down the hill.

Last Sunday I was brave enough to go again. I'm proud to say that I didn't fall near as much. My bum is very happy about that.

We took the kids and they had a lot of fun. They both enjoy playing in the snow and going down the hill. Isabelle still needs a little help, but she never complains about falling. She gets up and goes again with a smile on her face.
