Easter

This year Easter was a little different. We were still with Amos' family at Dead Horse Point. So the Easter Egg hunt was very interesting. Normally the kids just go in the backyard, this year they had to look a lot harder for all the eggs. Amos and his cousin Cody had fun hiding everything.

We got home Sunday night. As usual my family had dinner together. We always eat the same fish dish. And it's always delicious. I didn't have to cook anything, which was great. I just had to show up.

Dead Horse Point

Last weekend we went to Dead Horse Point with Amos' family. The kids had a lot of fun playing with their cousins.

We were going to do some mountain biking and hiking, but the weather wasn't great. So we ended up doing some walking and driving.

We also went to Canyonlands. The rock formations are incredible! We definetely want to go back and hike around.

We took the kids to the Visitor's Center. They were having a presentation on how the Native Americans used the desert resources to live. The kids had a lot of fun. Cam and Colton even tried starting a fire!

Cam's 1st baseball game of this season

Cam is playing baseball again this year. He really enjoys it. Most of the time parents have to remind the kids about their games, not Cameron. He is always so excited to go that he reminds us.

He is doing really well. This first game he played first base, and he was focused on the game the whole time. He even fell and scraped his arm catching the ball! He got up and continued to play, even though his arm was hurting. We are so proud of him!

Ethan is finally here!!!

My brother Sam and his wife Roberta have been expecting the birth of their first baby boy Ethan. Her due date was march 15th. For the past couple of weeks, we have all been waiting for "the call" or "the text". Yesterday it finally came.

I was so excited to go to the hospital. Newborn babies are so cute, and fun. They are so peaceful. It makes you forget about all your worries.

Roberta and Sam were nervous. They didn't know what to expect. Thankfully, she had an easy labor, and healthy baby. Ethan was 7lbs 7oz and 21.5in long. He is very handsome.

Congratulations Sam and Roberta!

Snowshoeing

Last Saturday my mother-in-law invited me to go snowshoeing with her. We went up Big Cottonwood Canyon. I was really nervous during the week. I didn't know what to expect. I had never done it before. And I'm not in great shape right now.

So I woke up early on Saturday and got ready to go. It was a lot of fun! I recomended to anybody who wants to try. We had a guide that took us through. She talked about different animals, energy reseve, different trees, etc. It was very interesting.

Needless to say, when I got home I told Amos snowshoes would make a great gift!
